#9: Millennial infertile gals love Zac Efron—it's basically a hormone side effect
Also, hi spring 🌸
It’s Friday, it’s finally spring, and honestly, that feels like reason enough to celebrate. That, and the fact that our first reel just went viral. Turns out, infertile millennial gals and Zac Efron are a match made in algorithm heaven—maybe it’s the nostalgia, maybe it’s the hormones, or maybe we just really needed the reminder that we’re all in this together.
We’re stepping into this new season full of optimism—despite our long history of disappointment and negative pregnancy tests—because, really, what else can we do? Hope is a survival strategy at this point.
Life has been a lot lately. We’ve both been swamped with work and bootstrapping this podcast. Amy is deep in treatments for Asherman’s Syndrome (updates coming soon), and Kayti is remembering to breathe as she steps into the third trimester with IVF bb girl. Somehow, 2025 already feels like a full year, and it’s only March.
Still, we’re choosing gratitude, optimism, and maybe just a little bit of hormonal delusion. Whether it’s the estrogen patches, the smell of spring, or pure stubbornness, we’re rolling with it. And you know what? You’re doing great, too, and that’s worth celebrating.
Sending you warmth, sunshine, and whatever joy you can grab this weekend. ☀️
xo,
Amy & Kayti
This week on the pod, we’re talking pelvic floor health—and, surprise, Kegels aren’t always the answer! 👀 We chat with Dr. Rachel Gelman, pelvic floor specialist and an AASECT certified sexuality counselor, about why pelvic floor dysfunction is so common (especially in the TTC and postpartum world), how to actually strengthen and support these muscles, and why peeing a little when you sneeze isn’t just something we have to accept. Listen on your preferred platform below, and make sure to follow her on IG for fun memes and content! 💛👇

This past week, we got to hear Dr. Rachel Mandelbaum from HRC Fertility talk about her needle-free IVF solution at the SoCalMom’s wellness summit. Dr. Mandelbaum, a pioneer in reproductive medicine, came up with this approach after seeing how tough needle injections were for IVF patients. Inspired by insulin pumps helping type 1 diabetes patients, she started exploring a similar tech for fertility treatments. We’re very excited to see where this goes in the coming months!
We’ve lost track of how many tears we’ve shed in the shower or how many hours we’ve spent just standing there, hoping the hot water can melt the stress away. If you listen to the pod, you know we’re all about those little things that make life feel a little more manageable. Well, this showerhead from Jolie is our latest favorite. From the perfect water pressure to its sleek look, plus the fact that it supposedly filters the water to make your hair and skin look better—it’s a small upgrade that’s made a big difference. It’s like a mini spa experience every day, and honestly, we’ll take all the comfort we can get.
We don’t even care that these sweet treats are $7 a bag. We’ll take a bulk order, pls
Thankful that this bill died in subcommittee 👏👏
Well, this is bullsh*t
You’ve likely heard this song on TikTok, but just in case, enjoy
